Achaleven Byre is just stunning..... Just spent one night, but will definitely go back for more :) Beata is a lovely person and made us feel very welcome. The byre is cosy, has a lovely garden area and totally peaceful,The bottle of wine which was chilling in the fridge was a lovely touch.

What a lovely cottage. Easy to find and excellent value for money. It had everything we needed and more. The cottage was spotlessly clean and really snug. We will definitely return for another quiet break.

loved it...amazing value for money, great ambience, little touches eg vintage china, just made it for me. Clean, cosy, a fabulous find whilst away on business...........be back for sure.proprietors couldnt be more helpful, and better vaklue for money than many of the hotels ive stayed in the past year

Couldn't find fault with the cottage felt very homely.....very clean, modern, all mod cons, loads of thoughtful extras supplied (ie cereals, milk, wine, chocs on the pillow etc etc!).
