Newly renovated rooms - nice! Good breakfast and nice bistro. The location is perfect, everything is close by. The marina is only a few blocks away and must be wonderful during summer. It is not a Scandic hotel, even though it says so here at Tripadvisor.

Stayed years ago when was in Scandic chain. Now just Hotel Savoy Mariehamn. close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Good breakfast but short hours, so do not sleep late! Sauna is 9€ but also get solarium and pool access. Superior rooms available but all room choices are okay, as renovations completed throughout.

We were fortunate to have a room in the refurbished wing of the hotel. The room was modern and spacious and the bathroom very well laid out and functional. The free wifi was a nice touch. Breakfast in the dining room was buffet style. Most tastes were catered for.

It's a decent hotel, and I would assume the best on the island. Don't expect any luxury though. It's okay value for the price, I suppose. There's unfortunately not so much to do in the area, more than the regular chill-out.

The most narrow bed I've ever slept in. The bathroom was unclean. Neither the room nor the hotel can't have been refurbished since the 70's.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff and is located very centrally in Mariehamn. However, the bathroom was in a very poor condition and gave out a bad smell. Like the title says, location is good. Five minute walk to downtown and 15 minutes walk to harbour. Peaceful area. Entering the room was like stepping in to time machine and all the way back to 1995. But everything worked fine, it was just out dated. Still, I would recommend this hotel and I am surely going to visit this... More
