Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is friendly. The restaurant has good food. Short walk downhill to Borneo cafe. Decent hotel, friendly service with limited English speaking skill. There weren't many options online, we went with Hotel Astiti and weren't disappointed. However it did say there was wireless internet in our room which didn't turn out to be the case (available in the lobby only).

Stayed here at the end of November 2012 for two nights (non-consecutive). This gave me the opportunity to experience different rooms. It appears rooms on the 2nd floor (eg 209 and 210) are newer and therefore more comfortable than those found on the 1st floor. Double was 350rp. Comfortable room with decent hot shower and AC. Clean. Friendly staff which makes a difference. Basic breakfast. Noisy location and building work in one wing so do request a room off the road.

Hotel Astiti is located a 20 min. drive from the airport and along Kupang's main road. I can say that I was satisfied by the service. But, it worth the price. I stayed in beach front view. Room service was.... average. But, in Kupang I would say that Hotel Astiti was an excellent choice to stay! ;)
