I had a nice, quiet and spacious room in the attic, in a charming Swedish design. The hotel is located in the harbour opposite the ancient castle. Stunning location! Try to come by ferry from Stockholm. The journey alone is relaxing. The service was friendly in a laid back Swedish style, polite and unobtrusive. Absolutely a good recommendation!

One of the few hotels in the archipelago, and a good base away from Stockholm to do some exploring in the Archipelago with the immediate area well served for restaurants and amenities. One caution I was disappointed by the lack of water based activities easily assessable by tourists e.g. boat / dingy hire.
