In an old neighborhood of monk houses, trendily renewed small houses with one room downstairs and one up. You walk outside to reach the common areas so you preferably go when the weather allows... Moreover breakfast starts at 7, not earlier, and Wireless works very slowly... Therefore prefer it for tourism. Lier is such a beautiful small flemish city !

I spent there only one night but it was perfect. Very spacious and nice designed rooms. A litle bit special since all the rooms have a direct entry from the garden, but it gives them a lot of light. I was recommended this by a local colleague as being more expensive but interesting. It was good. I loved it. It is an old convent/almshouse type place, very tastefully refurbishbished in the contemporary style (black floors, black matt tiles and white furniture in the bathroom).
