Matron and I have stayed at the Auberge for a night on three occasions now when visiting the area to replenish the cellar stocks at Bund Towers. It has been consistently good on each occasion. Rooms are well presented and kept. If you want a twin (we do in the absence of our own Super King) Room 11 on the... More

Our second visit to this hotel and we were again very happy with our stay. The room was spotless and well equipped with a good sized bathroom and spacious bedroom. The staff were friendly if a little difficult to find at times. Dinner was very good and valve for money. The breakfast was a little disappointing. Good place for a... More

Stayed here last year about this time of year and had a similar experience this time with the hotel having good quality food, nice rooms that were clean and tidy and pleasant staff. It is well located to explore the Calais area

A great little hotel with a first class restaurant, see the website and in particular note the closed times of the restaurant to avoid disappointment. (http://www.aubergeducolombier.com/modulosite2/fiche.php?id_bouton=1&id=840&fr=0) It is closely associated with Chateau Camping de la Bien Assise which might assist in finding it, although satnav would have got us to the door were we not very familiar with it. We travelled on an afternoon crossing to Calais and found this a perfect spot for a first night in France - surprisingly easy to find (very close to camp-site "La Bien Assise"), totally quiet, and our meal was relaxing and enjoyable in every way, with a most attentive member of staff who had already shown is to our room and... We have stayed here at least 4 times now on the drive over to Italy from Dover and every time it is faultless. Lovely rooms, lovely staff and a gorgeous setting in an old farm house. The breakfast is lovely - set in what I imagine is the old stables. A really reasonable price. Nothing fancy about this hotel; just... More

Booked this hotel as thought it looked nice on the website, and convenient for the Chunnel. Yes to both. But driving up from the south, I found the 20 minutes after you turn off the motorway was just too far at the end of a long journey (not the hotel's fault! - the little unfamiliar roads were tiring, and my... We found this auberge by using a popular booking site and are so glad that we decided not to use the run of the mill chain hotels. Set in a converted barn, the rooms are large, luxurious and clean with en suite bathrooms and the attached restaurant serves up delicious French home cooking. The staff are very attentive and friendly... More

We stopped over for just one night and booked on the logis online booking. We are a family of 5, including 2 teen lads and a toddler. The room was all set up well, it smelled as if it was newly decorated and was neat and clean. I was pleasantly surprised as for the price I thought it would be... More

The hotel is in the grounds of the beautiful old baronial manor house; it comprises several buildings all of which are the old farm cottages and outbuildings that have been restored to 21st century standards. Adjacent to the hotel is the restaurant (Ferme Du Gourmande) which serves excellent local dishes, the portions are more than adequate and the service friendly... More
