Stayed for 2 nights in Feb 2012. The hotel is quite charming with interesting history but I found it a bit too quiet - possibly due to the time of year! The room was large and comfortable but did not have basic tea/coffee making facilities which for me is a must. The nearest restaurants/bars are a good half hour walk...
