Was in a lovely location, hotel was just perfect. Could have easily passed as 5 star and I think it's the lowest room rate I've ever paid. Room was very nice and clean, very classy would definitely stay again. Breakfast was really good and included for the price! We're both very easily disappointed and The Summerset Arms impressed us very... More

We have just stayed for 2 nights in this lovely old pub. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent with generous portions, but the service was very slow. Drinks were expensive at £8.50 for a beer and a 175ml size house wine. Our room was very small and tired, and was not as clean as it could have been. 2 light... More

We arrived after a long drive and were pleasantly suprised to find this lovely litlle pub, fab food, fantastic service from the start, the guys couldn't do enough for us, very well presented pub, our room was on the small side but very well decorated, immaculate and Cosy, would return in a heartbeat.

Stayed at the Somerset Arms for two nights, dinner bed and breakfast. Dinners were really delicious and beautifully presented, the service was good as was the restaurant environment. Breakfast was OK although the choice on the menu was a bit limited. Our room was clean and comfortable, decorated in a contemporary style - a good standard for a pub B... More

First impressions were nice quiet location, friendly staff and good food. Reality was good food, although slow service. Room incredibly noisy with the extract outside the bedroom window and the party in the bar until 02.30 when another guest complained and it finally stopped mean't a good nights sleep was not to be had. The breakfast was awful with the... More

Food excellent and staff very friendly and welcoming, but the bedroom was very small and cold. Also the motor for the kitchen refrigeration kept cutting in and out and would resinate through the room all night. Area leading to the rooms very cold and untidy and although advertised both in the literature and online "no log welcoming log fires, also... More

Spent three nights in a well appointed comfortable room on a D. B & B basis. The people were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic and the young staff attentive and friendly. Loved the decor. We will be back!
