I was a bit worried about this hotel when booking but I needn't have been. The rooms are spotless, the service great and it has the most amazing garden bar/restaurant on the 4th floor with a magnificent vista over the Mekong Delta. I wish we could have stayed longer.

I was there for volunteer work so I stayed for almost a month at the hotel. Most of the time the crew and I stayed and ate at the hotel because there was not many restaurants. Food was not so so bad but it was the same old thing everyday AND majority of the things we ordered from the menu... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in September with our two teenage sons in a family room. We stayed here completely by accident as the hotel we were originally booked in at across the river had a death in the family and were in mourning. :( But we were very happy with our stay here. :) Our room... If you want western 'luxury' then this isn't the place for you. This is a very respectable but large local hotel which caters very well for Vietnamese tastes. So if you want a flavour of the real Vietnam ( not the Disney version) then you'd do well to stay here Top tip: take one of the front rooms (101,201 etc)... More

This is a good hotel, I believe it is a former state hotel. Ben Tre has very little tourists so there is not much choice. The rooms are specious and clean. The stairways and halls are massive. The restaurant is not good. Most food on the menu is not served. The restaurant was almost empty when we were there and... More

This was an interesting part of our family trip. The rooms were massive and very comfortable, the place seems to be set up for Asian tourists as the style and service was strange for us. The floors were so slippery one had to be very cautious when showering but the views of the river from the said slippery bathroom was... More

We arrived without a reservation they showed us the rooms including the suite to choose. The suite room was very large with sitting area desk and spa with balcony overlooking the river. Bike hire was cheap and there is a small pool. Ben tre has a great promenade area straight outside with a night market and lots of street food... More

Bearing in mind that Ben Tre does not yet see too many "westerners" we found this hotel acceptable. Rooms were clean and the hotel is well located. We had the same experience as previous reviewer when dining at the in house restaurant. We were the only people in the room and the waiters English was very limited. The meal was... More

We stayed here as part of a 2 day / 1 night tour. Initial impressions were good but delve a little deeper and the cracks appear. Perhaps we were just unlucky but our overall experience was very disappointing. The staff speak very little English and although this is not uncommon in Vietnam, it does make requests (if you have them)... More

We stayed here as part of a Come and Go VIetnam tour. A pleasant surprise. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bathrooms adequate. Beds firm and comfortable. The staff were helpful although english is not their strong point. At one point we were looking for a restaurant and were directed to a rooftop bar... which looked lovely but not... More
