We attended a conference there in May. Conference facilities were pretty average but the food was outstanding for dinner and lunch. Really excellent. Stayed in the Medieval Village and was very pleasant. Half Day trips to Montepulciano and Arrezzo were a highlight. Would certainly stay again. Staff were very professional. Not so sold on the Il Borro wine but the... More

I can not say enough about Il Borro. We had such a good time. We stayed in Gigilo in Poggio Piano and it was perfect. We were two couples and it was perfect. The Vin Cafe was one of the best and Steffino, Monica, Leonardo were just perfect as our servers and they seemed to love waiting on the people... More

Stayed in apartment Geranio in Poggio Piano in May 2011. Best experience in Tuscany. The apartments were of the highest quality and the staff are extremely friendly and professional. Kids has the greatest time with sight of wild boar and peacocks in the estate. Daily breakfast in Vincafe was excellent. Maurizio and Leonardo were very kind and helpful. We'll be... More

Our family just returned from a week’s stay at Il Borro. What a gorgeous location --- perfectly suited for our day trips driving to the hill towns of Tuscany. Even without warm weather, the scenery and the setting were divine. Every staff member we encountered was warm and hospitable and our apartment in the Medieval Village was like a home... More

Stayed a week at il farmhouse Casa al Piano. Apartment was very nice. 2 bedroom/2bath. It was very comfortable for 4 people. The view was great. I image it is very beautiful when things are in bloom. The reception people were very helpful. And Monica at Vin Cafe was wonderful. She gave us a lot of tips for things to... More

We stayed at Ill Borro for the week in February, 2013 in the Medival Village. It looked like a postcard picture. It was absolutely beautiful. We were afraid it would be cold and only rely on the fireplace. But we were wrong. Everyday we came back after touring to a heated apartment and also the floors were heated. We lit... More

Words cannot describe how much I love this place. I got married here on September and so Il Borro will always hold a special place in my heart. I would highly recommend staying in Chiocci Alto (one of the deluxe farmhouses) for a peaceful family holiday. The views from the pool are something you could only dream of. Luisa was... More

Four of us stayed for over a week in the Medieval Village of Il Borro and we could not have been more charmed. The accomodations were luxurious with lovely rooms, comfortable couches to sit before a large fireplace (with wood restocked as we needed it), comfortable beds with lovely linens, Ginori crockery, heated floors and towel racks, a dishwasher AND... We stayed at one of the apartments, Ciapi, at the medieval village for 7 days last week. The apartment is great. It has two bedrooms/bathrooms, spacious living room, and a kitchen. The view looking out is very pretty. We bought some groceries from supermarkets and even made a couple meals there. It's a beautiful estate. There are a lot of... More
