Well were do we start? Upon our arrival Val had done some beautiful baking of cake & scones with piping hot fresh tea to wash it down. Not only was it most welcome but Val made us feel most welcome with her laughter (which was infectious) & entertained us with her warm sense of humour. A very pleasant half hour... More

We stayed here while supporting our son's End-to-End cycle ride. (He also stayed at Forda Farm.) The self-contained room was very cosy and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful.

A short 5 night stay in probably the best B&B in Devon (or the world!). Booking super easy, a VERY warm welcome and a complimentary home made Devon cream tea with our wonderfully warm and chatty hostess Val. Ultra modern room with all mod con's housed in a rustic farm building, a great surprise. Great breakfasts too. The whole family... More

Hi Jeff and Sue, WOW. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay with us so much. Thank you. We have just had a short break north of the border and are now looking forward to the Christmas lambing and a happy holiday period with 4 exciteable kids. Hope to see you again in the not too distant future! More

Val and family made us truly welcome on arrival with a delicous cream tea and during our 2 night stay. Breakfasts were prepared to our requirements and served with a friendly, cheery smile. The en-suite room was in a newly converted out-building a few steps from the main house which gave us additional privacy. The local fudge and well stocked... More

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst property hunting in the area. We travelled with three small children aged 6 mths to 4 yrs, so the spacious room suited us really well. The milk buttons and baby toys left in our room were an unexpected treat. Val and her family are very accommodating and welcoming and we felt very relaxed... More

A return visit, this time during lambing which was lovely, spotlessly clean and very cosy, don't think there was a DVD player in the TV last time, so that's a handy addition. Our room had lots of space - there are bunk beds as well as our lovely big bed. We both slept really well and woke to the birds... More

Forda Farm is set in a lovely location and owned by a very friendly family. I was welcomed with a cream tea and paid for an evening meal, which was a standard family meal which is what I expected, and it was well cooked. The room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Nice hot shower and good courtesy tray -... More

This B&B is a great place to get away from the stresses of the office. I hate big hotels and lots of fancy services, this was perfect for me. Although the farm is a busy working farm - sheep and bullocks mostly I think - and home to a number of active children (4?), Val still made time to make... More
