Beautiful country house full of charm and character with friendly staff surrounded by scenic woodlands and gardens. Location wise also good situated between Whitby and Saltburn - too beautifl old, seaside towns. Thanks to all the staff and will visit again.

Finally managed to partake in our Xmas present of tea for two. We thoroughly enjoyed our tea, which included three different sandwiches, cream and jam scones, cakes, biscuits and cream tarts - all gorgeous. We went to Grinkle Park for a wedding last weekend and loved it. Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, great food and atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. I would recommend Grinkle Park to anyone for their wedding or just for a stay over.

Friendly staff, large comfy rooms with everything you need, great food and beautiful grounds. Very quiet and peaceful other than the central heating system was a bit noisy Great location for touring the area. Recommend the afternoon tea

We enjoyed 3 wonderfully days in the hotel. From checking in the experience was friendly, professional and welcoming. Special mention to all reception staff, bar staff and the restaurant ladies. We stayed here last night and on arrival were delighted and surprised to find that we had been upgraded to the bridal suite. I had mentioned when booking that it was my wife's 60th birthday but I hadn't expected an upgrade; I was just thinking that perhaps they would give her a card or put some flowers on the table... Stayed here for one night with friends for my husbands birthday, first impressions on approaching the hotel along the long drive were, "well we think we've picked well here", and we were not wrong. The lady in reception was very welcoming and checked us in fast and efficiently, she explained that we were on the second floor and that unfortunately... More

Having been coming here for 30 years it remains my favourite location. Excellent value, unique rooms, beautiful views, entertainment with snooker and tennis, a great bar, superb food and highly attentive service.
