We live in Fiji and our son was coming to celebrate his 21st birthday in Dec 2011 with his prtner and 10 friends, they spent the first 6 days on Robinson Crusoe Island 2 days sailing with PJ sailing Adventures and their last 5 days at the Beach house. What a great place to end their Fiji experience. I chose... More

This place is special. Best atmosphere of anywhere I've stayed in Fiji-really friendly typical Fijian hospitality which is awesome. Like staying at your best friend's beachhouse (if your best friend is Ben Harper) - in paradise. It rained the whole time I was there but it was still awesome-lots of activities and communal space to meet other travelers or do... More

POSITIVE: Beachouse has a very nice location, right on the beach. There are cool hammocks to relax in and a rope swing. Snorkelling right off the beach wasn't bad. We stayed in one of the Garden rooms, which was nice enough but lacked a little in the privacy department. Free breakfasts were pretty good. Dinner food was only okay. There... More

Had a mostly young backpackers feel to this ramshackle resort but there were other age guests represented so pretty much accessible to all. Loads of activities on offer all of which were affordable like horse riding, massages and snorkelling, although not the best example of a coral reef in the world, at around £5 per person, guess you can’t really... I loved the Beachouse soooo much. Words can't describe how fantastic it was. The people were so nice and welcoming. It really felt like home. The place is gorgeous and clean. The food was fantastic. There is so much to do. I could live there for years and never get bored. I have never been so sad to leave a... More

The first place I stayed in Fiji and I loved it so much I even travelled back from the islands to spend my last day there! The place has an amazing community feel and the manager Andrew and his beautiful Fijian staff make you feel one of the family, they put you to shame by learning and remebering your name... More

The staff were so friendly, you really feel like part of the family. I loved the afternoon tea at 330 and the beach is literally on your doorstep. I stayed in a beautiful attic room and there's always loads of trips planned. You HAVE to make coconut jewellery with Napoleon. Definitely a homely, community feel to the place. I'm already... More

This place was really nice and they spread the guests about the rooms so we ended up with a 4 bed dorm for just the 2 of us for 10 days. The staff were really nice except the owner who didn't speak to us the whole time we were there. The local shop is 5km walk away and we discovered... More

Ignore the quote on the website about it being recently renovated - the rooms and bathrooms are quite old-ish and in need of some tlc. But, with any luck you'll be spending most of your time on the beach. Its literally on the beach, the communal area is spacious and generally clean - so the fact the rooms aren't amazing... More

I stayed in Fiji for 6 weeks, starting in the island chains off of Nadi, then heading around the Viti Levu and the Beachouse was the best, the funnest and the most relaxed out of all the places I stayed. There is an aray of different types of accommodation from lovely spacey dorm rooms to great ensuite beach huts. There... More
