We stayed here for over a month in various rooms which were all comfortable. Previously some rooms had poor water pressure but they are fixing this. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Excellent little food shop in car park selling restaurant food at great rates. Hotel is always clean and beautifully decorated over the Christmas season. A pleasure to stay here.

I just remembered to write a review in this hotel as I am used to do whenever I get to travel any place. Considering the budget and the location, this must be a good choice. We were here (me and husband) for 2 nights to see the Mac Arthur Park and the San Juanico Bridge right before Christmas of last year... More

To me Hotel Alejandro is one of the best place to stay in Tacloban. It is in the heart of the city, so it is very accessible by any mode of transpo that the city offers, and it is also walking distance from the church, plaza and other establishments. It also has a cafe which offers nice and affordable meals,... More

The place is old. Rate is a bit expensive. Staff are not that friendly. I'm sure you can find many other hotels better than this one. We even had an experience wherein we were placed in the smoking area because the restaurant was full. Will not recommend this one.

I've been traveling to Tacloban for almost four years now and wrote my first review of this hotel in 2009. As the years have passed, only good changes have taken place. First off - the water pressure in the showers is better! We stayed in two 4th floor rooms this time, and the pressure in both was excellent. Hot water... More

An old colonial house turned into a museum, and a hotel built around it. It's a fascinating concept, and one which will give you a glimpse into the reason how this part of the country played an important role in its history. The location is also ideal, as it's easily located within the heart of Tacloban. Avail of the hotel's... More

The staff were really great, the room was very clean and large rooms. We were there for two nights and food downstairs were delicious and really cheap too! Can't wait to come in 2014. We stayed there from 11/21 & 11/22 of 2012

My wife and I spent two nights at the hotel just a few days before Christmas. Pros: The hotel is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The food and service is also good and reasonably priced. The Christmas decorations were exceptional. Even if one is a non-believer in Christianity they would certainly appreciate the beauty of the decorations and the enormous... More
