Great people and suprisingly amazing thai food. I've been to Thailand and the food was as good as over there. I have no idea how they get the ingredients... If you have to go through Mattawa, it is mandatory that you go there!

My first experience in Mattawa. I will recommend this hotel to everybody. I spend on night with my daughter and everything was excellent. You have to have the Thai food. This hotel was built in 1880's and has been remodeled to a delightful place to say. We didn't get there until 10:30 pm, the desk clerk was very friendly. Our room was huge and very clean. The breakfast was cereal and breads. I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay.

I have not eat or stayed here, but I have hung out in the bar. It's nice and quite and I like playing pool there when I visit. My only fault though is whenever I go the entrance always smells like urine! Also sometimes they close the bar if it's too quiet.

The room appeared clean, the bed was comfortable, but the owner was horrible to deal with. I would strongly advise NOT staying here. Doors are even locked during the day, in this most lovely and quiet picturesque town!
