We stayed at Bissells in our travel trailer for 5 nights the end of August 2012 with our two children aged 8. This was our first visit. Loved it so much we have rebooked for 2013. Asked the kids where they wanted to go for the end of summer camping trip & Bissells was the answer. All of us had... More

Spent a weekend in August 2012 here. Our whole family loved it. The regular pricing of the park is a little steep - but we got a great discount through Groupon. We parked our trailer in the unserviced sites at the back of the campground. That section seems a little more private than the pool/activity hall area. These unserviced sites... More

The place was fun, the pool was great, and there are a few fun activities for everyone to do. They had a mad science activity for kids that was great and bingo for the adults. The only negatives were the stores are overpriced and you have to pay for the showers. Suggestion for the park owners is people staying three... More

Thanks for your response. Years back the showers were free. The problem was that people took long showers, kids ran in and out and left them running, the hot water could not keep up and it was hard to keep them clean. Today the showers are always available, clean, kids do not play with them and the water is always... More

We stayed in the Deluxe and chalet cabins at Bissell's and loved them. This is our second year in a row and can honestly say that it now will be a family tradition. Beware if you are coming to see the sights in Niagara Falls, our kids 4,8, and 10 are always' whinnying to go back to the park when... More

Huge pool! Paddle boats, mini putt, park. Stayed in cabin. Upgraded to air and fridge! Very clean! Great view! They have activities for the kids. Tonight it was Halloween and we went trick or treating! Fantastic idea! A great place for families! The washrooms are even clean!

We just went for the day. I found it very expensive. I guess they would prefer you stay a few days. We live in the area and were looking for a waterpark. The splash area was great and the pool was awesome. Unfortunetly we will not return at those prices.

We just got back from a 3 night trip to Bissell's Hideaway with my wife and 2 kids ages 4 and 6. We were camping in a trailer and had full hookup. The site we had was just fine, we had trees and shade and had a view of the playground and the pool area, it was nice and close... More

Thanks For the comments. We are in the process of resurfacing the mini putt and also adding a zip line, rock wall and extreme jumper. The pool does cool down quickly if the nights are cold, in the future we are looking into solar or natural gas as a heating option. Try us this summer and see all of our... More

We stayed in a Rustic Plus - air conditioning and a fridge but no bathroom. These cabins are really cute. I don't really enjoy camping, so this offered enough comfort while still feeling like we were camping without having all the work to set up camp. We were a couple doors down from the bathroom, but there was 1 stall... More

I started going here with my husband and our 2 children 4 years ago. My kids have the absolute time of their lives, in the pool, catching frogs, fishing, meeting other kids. We rent the basic cabin, and it serves our needs nicely. And it really allows our kids freedom they don't get in the city, which is really nice... More

My husband and I were seasonals at Bissells 10 years ago yet sold our trailer after we started our family. This is our first year back and my only regret is that we didn't do it years ago.
