My wife and I booked into Woodlands Hotel at fairly short notice as our previous venues were fully booked. We were completely delighted with the choice; the room (10) was extremely clean and tidy with a well equipped en-suite. The breakfasts cater for every taste, and the "full English" is a sight to behold - two of everything, very well... More

We stayed in the cold first week of January. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The Room (6) was clean and tidy and had all that we needed for our short stay. It had an ensuite two steps down in level from the bedroom so we made sure we left the bathroom light on! The door handle was tricky to... More

We stayed here for a few nights over Christmas and we enjoyed a roomy room - lovely bathroom. Everything was very clean and the room was cosy and quiet. The bed was comfy. There were an adequate amount of electrical outlets. The staff were very friendly. There was no lift - however our luggage was delivered to our room by... More

After having a good experience at The Woodlands for our works Christmas party we decided to try the Sunday lunch - as we only live around the corner. It was excellent we had a choice of three roast meats on the carvery with huge yorkshire puddings and a good range of fresh vegetables brought to the table. You have a... More

Breakfast was lovely with plenty to eat...Our room included a full english breakfast.. The young waiter was very attentive and nothing was too much bother : ) We would definately return !!

The hotel was the overnight stopping off point for my Spanish guests, I did not stay but did join them for dinner and a cold one. They tell me the hotel was more than adequate for their needs and is more homely than the chain hotels they tend to use. We were joined by a couple of my colleagues swelling... More

10 friends met for Sunday lunch at Woodlands restaurant. On a cold wet miserable November Sunday the woodlands was a welcome respite,Staff welcoming,a separate room especially for us and gentle live music in the nearby dinning room. The carvery was excellent. A sensible idea was the vegetables served fresh at the table - (no soggy greens) We will be back next... More

Dont want to unjustly criticise this hotel, as on the whole it was fine. There were a few niggles though. We booked a standard room and were given a ground floor room which was obviously designed for a disabled person. Ive stayed in rooms like these before and they quite work for people who dont need the adaptations! The sink... More

Stayed here for 1 night, nice hotel, clean with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was cooked fresh for us and it was excellent! so nice to experience a freshly cooked breakfast rather than one being kept hot for hours in a help yourself buffet! Very quiet even though a function was on the evening we were there. Would recommend this very... More

I stayed overnight, but was unable to dine here as there was a major function. The breakfast, however, was first rate, and very good value. Overall, this is a warm, friendly, comfortable hotel, with most attentive and courteous staff. It was a real pleasure staying there, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Spalding at reasonable... More
