My fiance and I arrived early evening, the heating was broken so we were accommodated in the 'sister pub / hotel'. The room, which we understand to be very similar in both establishments was perfect. There are not many reviews like this but here goes. We met up with friends in the north devon area and all went to the red lion for a meal. The standard was the highest possible the food delicious service impeccable and ambience delightful. All the adults and Kids cleared their plates. Unfortunately we lost our camera in the village... This was a great find. Our room was spacious with an enormous and very comfortable bed! Shower was wonderful. Breakfast great. And the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Definitely one to return to!
