Stayed for one night while working away and was very happy with the george hotel. The room was lovely, the food and the drink were excellent and the staff and locals were all friendly and the waitresses were very helpful and pleasent. I am looking forward to visiting again. Dave from stoke.

The accommodation was really poor i wish i had read reviews beforehand bedrooms damp and bathroom mouldy from floor to ceiling I couldn't use the bathroom I used the bathroom my family had slightly better The staff were helpful to a point I think very under staffed. We were very disappointed with the venue on arrival. The outside of the hotel is a mess. Old tables and chairs and overflowing ashtrays did not make a good first impression. Had a brilliant night here menu was awesome the bar was friendly and old country. Would highly recommend for those who are after a very fun different experience.
