We blindly chose the Waterberg Wilderness campsite over the NWR campsite because of its smaller overall size (for 2 people, the all-in cost between the sites is equivalent). We stayed for the first time at the Waterberg Wilderness. This place is much better than the NRW camp and Waterberg Lodge. We had a great afternoon drive, rooms are clean and fresh, food was OK. Very beautiful scenery, and friendly staff!

we stayed for two nights in the plateau lodge at waterberg wilderness. we were completely unsatisfied. the staff is dedicated, but does not have the neccessery experiences the manage responsibilities that the owners give them. the rooms are a mix of lodge (main room) and backpacker place (bathroom). the food for is unaproptiate for a lodge in this price class....
