  "Well, as one of the few English language reviewers on this hotel, let me start out by saying I have stayed here about 10 times in the past 6 years, in all cases for archery events. A couple of things- this is a Yamaha corporation resort and it was built in the heyday of the Bubble economy. The rooms are all air conditioned, I have mostly stayed in the South Wing (down hill from the SMC) but the main hotel is actually the North Wing, and it's more like a normal hotel than the South Wing. The baths are typically Japanese, modular with a decent sized tub and all the amenities. beds are a little bigger and a little softer than you might find in a typical Tokyo business class hotel. As the Japanese reviewers noted, the buffet (Viking) is excellent- if you like Japanese food.   "We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by the reception staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was first class. I would heartily recommend this hotel to any traveller going to Omaezaki and will certainly use it next time I visit."

From the hotel, you can easily walk to the castle or to the zoo. They also have bikes that you can borrow. We had a little kitchen and small refrigerator. They have maps to two supermarkets at the front desk. They're on the other side of the railroad tracks near the Denney and McDonalds. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. It was perhaps my favorite of our three week trip. They have a coin operated laundry in the parking garage. There is a tourist information office in the train station.
