The rooms vary we booked late and stayed in one o..."f the older rooms which was not great, a bit old, very basic but adequate. The newer rooms looked very nice. A few little niggles which could have made our stay better mainly being communication over the booking where the boat is landing and possibly they could arrange to meet people at the other end of the beach when the ferry arrives, it is no fun dragging heavy cases through the sand in sweltering heat after many hours travelling. Someone else has previously mentioned on here that the service was very friendly but not really effective I would agree with that. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay and even extended a day it is a really beautiful spot on a really beautiful island. " More >

  "We've just spent 7 nights at the Mali and couldn't find any problems the owner and staff were always polite and very helpful nothing was a problem , we ate most lunch times in the Mali and we found the food very good ,Ruth organised a long tail boat for us to go snorkelling which was excellent the ..."water was crystal clear and plenty of fish to see ( tip take some bread or banana to feed them ) we stayed in a garden room which we found comfortable and only about 15 meters from the beach overall it was a really enjoyable 7 days in probably one of the best locations for a beach holiday you could ask for in thailand ,we would definitely recommend " More >

  "We (a French-Swedish family with two children 3 and six) stayed here with another Swedish family with two children of the same age, for a one week in March 2013 and we were very happy with our stay at Ricci House. The hotel is not located by the beach but really don't worry about that. It is located..." just by the walking street, in the middle of the island with easy access to the main beach (Pattaya Beach) and the Sunrise Beach which is a lovely bech by the way. And if sometimes you don't feel like walking, the staff at the hotel are more than happy to drive you to the beach for a few bath. The staff at the front desk is great, nice and very helpful and so lovely with the kids. They helped us to organize a perfect day trip with snorkeling in the archipelago. Brekfast (included) is ok, not the best we experienced in Thailand but ok. We only had dinner there once or twice but it was good. We had a double room with one extra bed (mattress on the floor) which worked out fine for both familie... " More >
