  "Stayed for 5 nights on a golf trip. The Claremont is a good base for both golf and local restaurants. Hosts are extremely welcoming and the breakfast sets you up for the day. Would not hesitate to recommend if looking for good but reasonably priced accommodation."

  "The hotel is in a beautiful spot with lovely grounds and the place is really nice to look at. The inside is a little old world and I guess the rooms are as well. Having said that the place is clean and tidy and generally well looked after. Yes there is loads of memorabilia of 617 squadron and there ..."is a photo of my mother who packed their parachutes for the famous dam raid....shes in the photo to the right in the bar area.....so its worth going to she her there.... The only poor point was that during breakfast my table guest was the wife of a rather famous pilot from New Zealand...her order for tea and brown toast was completely ignored and forgotten leaving her feeling rather neglected and thereby rushed to get to the memorial service.....breakfast staff take note please......oh by the way this my third visit to the hotel and standards are consistant.   "We stopped here for lunch and wasnt disappointed. The service was excellant as was the food and a lovely pint of beer, and the fish and chips hit the spot. We were staying at the nearby hotel and it made a welcome break."
