Also great for snorkeling as there are lots of boulders in the bay that the fish like to hang out by. They provide free snorkels. We were only there for 3 days in the peak season and wanted to stay longer but they were fully booked. (book early!) The food was great - good mix of western food and thai food available. They also have ice creams you can buy (I ate a few more Magnums than usual!). Great views from the restaurant. Breakfast buffet was lovely - I think it was 8am to 10am, which was a tad late for my littles ones who tend to wake at 6.30am and want to eat at 7am!   "Went here with my two sons in May and have to say we were all blown away by this place. My sons are 27 and 22 and not easily impressed as they live in Thailand and have traveled extensively around a lot of the Islands but this is really somewhere very special. The view for the infinity pool is spect..."acular, the rooms are perfectly fine and the outdoor shower just adds something special to the whole experience. The lay out of the Bali houses is fab and clearly the owner isn't of the mindset to just build build build and cram the place with as many guests as possible which is a rarity in itself so as a result the place isn't bustling with queses at breakfast or other meal times. The food was without doubt amazing and so reasonable we sometimes thought we'd read the price wrong!! Staff were friendly, charming and so helpful, quite honestly there was nothing not to like about this place.   "I had an amazing stay in Koh Kood at this resort, it is the cheapest one on the island but has amazing standards, I think. Paid 700Baht for a fan bungalow (and yes, it really is the cheapest..) and was absolutely delighted. The bungalow was very basic, very clean and comfortable huge bed (seriousl..."y huge!!), a fan and a safe. The bathroom is indeed half open, but in my bungalow there was a plastic roof, so that did the work. Fairly clean, I'd say, again, by Thai standards. Really can't complain about anything. The bungalows have a little terrace in front, either facing the garden or the beach, I had a little bit of both :) They have a bbq every evening, with great great food, although more expensive than what you're used to in Thailand, even on the islands. But, when you're there and you put everything together, you realise it truly is worth it.
