Rooms are gorgeous and the back patio unbelievable. Couldn't say enough nice things about the people, you have to go meet them! Pattie's breakfast was fantastic. Lots to do all in a short drive or just spend some time on the boardwalk (right outside) which is packed with friendly locals on the weekends. Was our favorite place we stayed by far and we will definitely be back. If you can't get a room or are maybe traveling alone look up the street to their hostel Bahia el paraiso (also great, friends stayed there.)   "The people really matter in a hostel environment, and dawn and josue are fantastic. I stayed 2 nights at their sister b&b down the street (not enough beds short notice for our group of 3) but made fast friends with the girls who did sleep here (aka took our beds ;) ) Its a pretty new place and the f..."ront doesn't look like much but go inside! After giving me directions (and staying on the phone until he could see us) josue welcomed us into the best place we stayed in PR. Gorgeous balcony views on the water and wonderful friendly little town. Couldn't say enough about the wonderful above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty service and if you're even considering it, go! They're constantly improving the properties and I can't wait to go back. If they can't fit you they'll tell you about casa libre (the b&b with awesome breakfast a couple houses down) wherever you sleep its worth far more than what they charge.   "Casa Cubuy was exactly what we were looking for. The room was clean and comfortable, the owner Matthew made us feel like welcome guests in his home, and the view was SPECTACULAR. The lodge is set in a relatively isolated area, but it is within easy driving distance from the north entrance of El Yu..."nque, many beautiful beaches, nature reserves, etc. Did I mention the breakfast? Amazing. The walking trails from the lodge's property lead to several waterfalls and pools. The southern entrance to El Yunque is less than five minutes up the road and offers a picnic grove and even more trails. We are bird watchers, and we saw more species from the balcony of our room than we did hiking in the forest!
