The house was very nice, clean, beatifully furnished and well equipped, with everything needed in kitchen and bathroom. The surroundings are lovely, with walking distance to a small beach, and a few restaurants. Brigitte, our hostess, was extremely helpful with whatever our questions were. I am sure we will come back. The eco-village is excellent if you want to spend the time with family and friends and yet be independent in the three different locations, each with their particular charm. Her property is spotless and beautifully equipped. Lovely sunsets. Our only issue with the hotel is its location. One is VERY close t..."o the road in the smaller two cottages. If you are not from the island, or perhaps from Europe, you may find the driving conditions challenging at best, and treacherous at worst. Scary roads! The location is such that one has to drive at least 25 minutes to a good beach (Grande Anse) and about 15 minutes to go out at night into Malendure because there is nothing in the way of restaurants in Pointe Noire. Daytime driving OK but we did not venture out in the evening. We would have liked to but driving was simply too stressful. This property is top notch. High quality interior, furniture and excellent design overall. Brigitte is charming and very knowledgeable about the culture and terrain. ... " More >
