This could be because we stayed in the shoulder season though. Grounds of the hotel are lovely and well kept. The staff are also an asset. You are quite a long way from the airport - expect a 2 hour transfer if you are on a coach and to be the last ones dropped off. That said, we didn't regret out choice of hotel. If you don't want to hire a car, there is a bus to Rhodes town, 2 hours again roughly. Well worth a visit in my view, the old town is lovely. At the time we stayed, only one bus per day 8.45 am, perhaps in higher season there is a bit more choice. The rooms, are spacious, the views incredible, the pools are well served and the beach is not crowded (and had some decent snorkelling!) The staff are what really made it stand apart - always helpful, never in your face and knowledgeable about the area, food and wines they served. We are already planning on returning later in the year, but we will avoid peak season - I am not sure how this resort would cope if it was completely full! " More >
