  "I stayed at this hotel as a solo traveller as my husband had to work at the last minute. I was a bit apprehensive but this hotel is very welcoming and they looked after me really well. I needn't have worried. My room was perfect with spectacular views. I laid in bed at night just watching the se..."a and the lights twinkling across the bay. The balcony was shared but was partitioned off from your neighbours. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff were all excellent, very friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful and breakfast first class. The view from the bar is just WOW. The hotel can allocate a parking space in the station car park which although more expensive than the council day rate does at least guarantee you a space when you return from a day out. I even got to see the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on their historic visit as they passed by the hotel! It is well placed for the town with only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre.... " More >
