Jean and Campbell made us feel so welcome from the minute they greeted us at the door. They are a lovely couple, very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in 'The Chestnut Room', double bed en-suite very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Tea tray replenished each day with ample 'goodies'. Breakfast was an amazing choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts. We totally recommend the full Scottish breakfast which lasted us all day. We will definitely return. Delma & Neville. The staff couldn't have been more attentive during our stay and during the planning stages of the event. Our spacious room o..."n the 3rd floor was excellent, it was over the entrance looking towards St. Andrews. We both enjoyed 2 good nights sleep. The bathroom was very good too well stocked with toiletries and towels, had a huge bath and separate invigorating shower. I ventured to the Spa for a relaxing express massage - very good - I did find it a little odd though that the entry to the pool was shared with the relaxing spa reception area. We had planned to going into St. Andrews for dinner but changed our minds late afternoon and luckily got an early evening table in their Esperante Mediterranean Restaurant - well - what can I say - it was outstanding!
