  "Our first experience with Highland hospitality was shown to us by Karen and Richie at the Marine. From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we were staying in a first class bed and breakfast. We were greeted warmly by Karen, who showed us to our beautiful room that had ocean views from two win..."dows. The king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean with a large shower that was perfect. Breakfast in the mornings was cooked to order and delicious. The menu was set out each night and then we picked what we wanted. The great thing was, we didn't have to go by exactly what was on the menu. Richie was happy to prepare any combination of the offerings of the morning. You can even have dinner there- with advance notification. You bring the wine, and they will provide a lovely candlelit dinner for a price that is better than most of the restaurants there.
