  "This property is in a quiet location within the Torbeg lodges development, a short drive from Blackwaterfoot. It is very well equipped, clean and warm. A bright open plan living / dining / kitchen was a nice social space with lovely views of the well maintained grounds and hills beyond. Two double b..."edrooms had good storage, the third not so much. The bakery & butcher in the village have excellent produce. We also visited the lovely Cafe Thyme and our daughters had a great time at the nearby Cairnhouse Stables. Lots of super walks within a short distance - try Kings Cave & the Machrie standing stones.   "Location and Public Transport : If you are depending on public transport, catch 324 bus from Brodick towards Blackwater foot.The journey time is around an hour and half, you can enjoy the bus journey through various landscapes and it is a good way to explore the island. Dont forgot to pick bus time..."table as the bus frequency is quite low. If you are driving, it is very easy to reach Machrie from Brodick, it is just 9 miles. This property is located close to Machrie Bay.Get down in Machrie Tearoom and from there it is a short walk for about 5 Minutes. B&B : I stayed in a spacious double bedroom here.One gets a view of Machrie Bay from the bedroom window. Shower room is equipped with towels, basic toiletries such as body wash, body moisturizer, handwash etc. Owners were prompt in cleaning the room daily, emptying dustbin, changing linens and providing fresh towels.
