No.15 is the only villa with a smaller round pool, this dissappointed us at first as it limited swimming/floating space but as the week went on we realised we had gained a larger area for sunbathing and the toddler had plenty of room to play. The gr..."ounds around the villa are open to all the gardens (no fencing) this was not a problem for us as our toddler didn't go far and we were always watching her but it does leave you feeling slightly exposed. The villa's opposite us (I think 5 & 6) were totally exposed their pools and outside dining area are on view to everyone walking along the main paths. At least our villa's pool area was quite private and therefore we could eat outside sunbath & splash about without being on show. The complex is beautifully manicured and the pool cleaned regularly - The pools do not have a shallow end. We were very pleased with the villa, lots of living space.   "we just returned from this villa complex and we couldnt fault it.staff were fab,nothing was to much trouble.we visited at the back end of october,and the spar shop across the road was just closing and had very little left to sell,so we got a taxi to euroski supermarket approx 6-7euro and did a massi..."ve shop,very reasonable rose wine for 2euro(decent stuff,would pay 5-6 pounds in uk.fab cheeses,serrano ham etc.got brandy for 6 euro and chocolate milk and made our own lamumbas.it was about 1.5 miles into escana across the beach,not a bad walk,but could be a bit far out for some.s argamassa is an urbunization where locals live,so there were only a hand full of bars and restaurants but we knew this before we went,so it wasnt a problem.the villa itself was fab,no.5 with the slide and swings in front,spotless,nice pool,4 bedrooms,2 bathrooms.wish i was there now.no aircon,but i would still go in high season,it wouldnt bother me.i could go on and on,please feel free to pm me if you have any q...   "We visited as a family of 8 in June 2012 (I know I'm nearly a year late in my review!!!) it was a great holiday. The villa was immaculate & well thought out. The "plunge pool" was a relief to us during the hot days, not exactly a swimming pool, but great for our 1 & 5 year olds. Jesus (the barman) w..."as very attentive to all guests (even the Germans!!) The Spar shop opposite the complex stocks a good range of food, fresh baked bread available each day, if your a smoker, visit the local hotels/bars & use their cigarette machines.
