  "We loved this hotel, it was in a excellent location and was newly refurbished and clean. However 2 small points that could make a big difference. There was a lack of vegetables or salad even when we asked for some we either got a small portion and didn't then get a desert, we requested salad/veg eve..."ry day but still had to ask. Also the reception/bar service was poor, there was no barman, ice or someone available to pour drinks when requested. At reception the staff would put their heads down as if they were busy before serving us, we had to ask for ice with every drink and it took ages with them using a small bag of ice. We felt that the owner should have been more attentive, he could see that we wanted service both in the bar and the restaurant but just seemed to walk about having a presence but not doing anything. Two small points that could be easily rectified and made our stay and HB Bus excellent. " More >
