  "As a person with mobility difficulties it is very difficult for me to find suitable hotels but the Summerhill and its'friendly owners managed to tick most of my boxes.Our room (23) had a king size double bed and a single bed and the en-suite was equipped with grab rails on both sides of the toilet a..."nd there were grab rails in the shower so no problems there although the room did suffer from a lack of storage space ( possibly due to the size of the beds ) and couples who take a lot of clothes on holiday might find this a problem. Prior to our arrival I had requested that the bed be raised on blocks and a chair with arms provided in the dining room and both of these requests were fully met. Room 23 is on the ground floor and level access is available to the dining room, bar, lounge and front door although the hotel does not baccept electric wheelchairs due to the passageways being fairly narrow.
