  "We liked the hotel's location in one of the main streets. We were given a room away from the main street which would have made it quieter. The room was attractively decorated. It was situated on the first floor beyond the pleasant sitting area. We stayed for 3 nights and there was always an excellen..."t breakfast. We made use of the roof top garden and had a picnic lunch up there one day. The only thing that I had against the hotel was the lack of heating, it was mid June and the weather had turned cold. There were extra blankets, but we could have done with some heating. We enjoyed our stay in Volterra. It's a lovely town, well worth visiting. We traveled there by public transport, getting a train from Pisa to Pontederra and then a bus from Pontederra to Volterra. From Volterra we traveled on to Lucca. " More >
