The house does not only look fabulous, the rooms are also truly comfortable. Alan and Peter welcome you as if you were their personal friends and provide you with all sorts of interesting information about the sights in the area, which is so much more than the city of Bath. The conversations during breakfasts and dinners, and teas in the drawing room, with the other guests, mostly gay couples, were more entertaining than at many private parties that I have been to.   "After a long drive we checked in at reception, very pleasant lady Clare (the general manager) was so helpful/friendly, took us to our room the John Baskerville in the main hotel a lovely lounge, very comfortable couch good size flat screen tv writing table etc, then up the stairs through the low doo..."r to a nice size bedroom, comfortable bed, tv, comp tea, coffee facilities and beautiful views of rolling hills including the "Westbury white horse" carved into one of the hills. Across the hallway to the large bathroom and lovely spa products big fluffy towels and bathrobes,solid low oak beam hi hi, all part of the character and build of the grange. We relaxed and enjoyed the the quietness over a cold drink. Dinner was fantastic, we chose the duck. Waiting staff polite and friendly taking great care to keep our glasses topped up and explained clearly a few questions about various dishes from the menu.
