  "Had two night break through Supervalu at this hotel. First impressions were good, friendly staff, lovely room and nice food. But unfortunately after that things changed. First night stay at 4am in morning, a guy walked into our room. Now as we had our 3 year old girl with us, I just freaked and c..."ouldn't relax after that there. To cut it short, some fault with the locking mechanism of the door, which meant that one could just walk into the room without a card as they could open the door from outside, hence this guy getting wrong room and walking in. Explained to hotel following morning after investigating the door problems ourselves, they upgraded us to a seaview room. But again same thing happening here with door. So they changed us to apartment. So had one night then in the apartment, which we loved, so much room of course and the apartments are nice.   "My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Parknasilla recently. The great weather was an added bonus. We had an Executive sea view room and the view was just stunning. Could have sat looking out the window all afternoon but dragged ourselves to the pool and spa area which is fantastic - so relaxing. ..."The outdoor hot tubs have to have the best vistas in Ireland. The dining room is gorgeous and the food was excellent. We enjoyed and after dinner drink in the bar listening to some lovely tunes played on a grand piano before bumping into some friends and enjoying some more drinks by the fire. The breakfast was excellent and afterwards we went for a walk through the forest and spotted the fairy houses. A lovely walk by the shore brings you to an old bathing changing box. My husband went for a swim in the sea which was most refreshing. The grounds have so much to offer by way of walks it would be worth staying for two nights at a minimum something we will do the next time. " More >
