Breakfast was plentiful and the full Irish was excellent. I'd like to be able to give this a five star rating, but our room (33) was let down by the size of the bed, which was very small for two adults, and the fact that the mattress was rock hard which made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.   "We recently stayed at Hotel Minella for a wedding. The hotel is a little outside Clonmel on the Banks of the River Suir. We were lucky with the wedding in that it was a lovely sunny day so we were able to sit out on the seats out the back which was lovely. We got a standard room and we were very pl..."eased with it- nice size and spotlessly clean. Bed was really comfy- bathroom was really nice too. Still water in the rooms as well which is a nice touch- have stayed in alot of 4* hotels before and most of them don't do this. Some of the other guests at the wedding mentioned that their rooms had jacuzzi baths /steam room so they were very pleased too! There is a leisure centre in the hotel, but as we were at the wedding we didnt get a chance to use it. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and friendly.
