The hostel can be a bit of a maze at times, but seeing as it's a few Victorian era looking townhouses knocked together to make this hostel, i dont see any issue with this as the cha..."rm and uniqueness it creates, makes up for it. The kitchen was a little on the small side, but adequate. There is a bar downstairs, i had no issues with noise from here, maybe i stayed when there was no good nights! The location is what makes this hostel. Situated in lovely Glenelg, 2 min walk into the towncentre, 2-3mins to the nice sandy beach. A 10min tram ride into city centre is only 2min walk away also. Also 3 or 4 decent bars/nightclubs within 5 mins walking. " More >

  "We spent the weekend in a 1 bedroom ocean front apartment and we were so glad we did. It is right on the beach with no road to cross. It was such a beautiful night I left the sliding door open to hear the waves. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished, and the only criticism is the small ..."tv. The main shopping centre, on jetty road is a 5 minute walk. You can get a tram into the city from there if you wish. .There are plenty of eateries along the esplanade as well as jetty road. Directly out the front is a lovely soft sandy beach for a morning walk. The gym is efficient and the indoor pool was wonderful.   "I stayed at the Stamford Grand for three nights. The room was nice and clean, thick curtains (great for sleeping). Small things like the products in the bathroom (shampoo etc) are high quality. The staff are helpful and the parking is located nearby (valet not needed) about 30 meters from the entran..."ce to the hotel. The gym located at the hotel is better than most hotels provide and I enjoyed using the weights and running/ cycle machines. The buffet breakfast is handy but there are better choices nearby (checkout Grind It, coffee shop located at rear of hotel, best coffee and breaky!!) I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Adelaide either for a family holiday or a business trip to Adelaide. " More >
