The staff could not be more friendly and helpful especially George who always had our rum slushies waiting for us at the pool bar and the lovely girl (sorry I can't remember your name) who worked the music bar in the evenings. The food was fantastic, far superior to other all inclusive hotels I have stayed in and we had 2 great fun nights with our chef in the Japanese restaurant. The pool area was mostly peaceful and very relaxing with plenty of sunbeds. I especially loved the floating beds so I could sunbath on the pool to cool down in the afternoon.   "Once again, I was back to Playa Pesquero. ( April 11 to 25 ) This was my 8th visit of 2 weeks. Time flies but I always seem drawn to go back and spend a good 2 weeks of R and R at this resort almost every year. The big question is why? Well, the answer is value!!! I have been to plenty of resorts ov..."er the years in Cuba, in Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Florida etc. I have never really found another resort that responds to my personal needs as much as Playa Pesquero. I am a man in his late 50's, I travel alone most of the time and no longer look for a booming bar scene. I like quality service, enjoy meeting people, require nice beaches and don't want to mortgage my house to go on a holiday. Playa delivers all of this and more. I love the people, the food is fine with all the buffets and restaurants, and the accommodations are OK. What else would anyone want to have an enjoyable holiday. For our first visit I was so diappointed but so glad we gave this hotel and staff another chance. We sent an email to P.R. with our room location request etc. and Tania was super helpful from the moment we arrived. Although we could not get the room we asked for that night we were given it the next morning. I would say 98 out 100 staff members you encounter will be super friendly and will try to give you the best possible service.
