  "This was our first accommodation when arriving in Rarotonga.. Booked very easily over the internet as it was close to the airport & main town.. When we arrived, we had a free upgrade because our room was full.. Room was very nice.. Own bathroom & kitchen.. Only thing was FREEZING cold showers.. Hadn..."t read any other reviews on this, so maybe it was our room? Who knows! Luckily all the other backpackers we stayed at had hot water! Fantastic service.. Nice communal area.. clean.. Great value for money! Walking to the main town would take 20-40 mins (depending on how we had to drink!) hehe.. Small superrettes only 5 min walk..   "We stayed in Are Mango for a week and enjoyed it very much. As other people said before, the room doesn't get any cleaning during your stay, which is probably the only downside. The beach is very close although for a nice dip without rocks and sea cucumbers you'll have to walk further down towards the laguna cruises place and further on. It is true that staff was not present very much however I can confirm they are very helpful when needed - when one of the guests had a family emergency and had to go back to Europe immediately, Kelli arranged everything, she even took her to the airport at 5.30am in the morning.
