  "Hi, We stayed here for one night having stayed at the beautiful Kebun for 10 days previous. When we booked our holiday we thought we would have too book a hotel in Kuching for one night prior to our early flight back to the UK, but no,"Adrian to the rescue". Adrian owns both The Kebun and The Res..."idences and offered us this as part of our package. It is a lovely little self contained appartment which has everything you need for a short stay.It is in the grounds of his family home. there is a beautiful pool which you can use (we didn`t as we had packed everything and didn`t fancy taking wet cosies back) It is in a residential area and I must admit we didn`t find it easily even with the Sat Nag, but believe it has now had a name put outside, and don`t be put off by the large white fence all around , there are large gates around the corner but you don`t access the property through these but throught the white fence with it`s hidden electric gates (you do get given a key for these) I ...   "Lovely new hotel, large bright lobby gives idea of rest of hotel. Our room on 15th floor was huge, bed was massive and very comfortable, large bathroom with good amenities, massive bedroom windows have great view of town and storms as they developed. Large flat screen tv with plenty of channels. Wou..."ld have liked wifi in room but made do with free wifi in lobby which is accessible while in dining room and all ground floor locations. Breakfast was fantastic, most variety I have ever seen at a breakfast buffet anywhere in the world, lovely local options including noodles, nasi goreng, roti, dhal, rendang, sambal as well as Japanese options, waffles and pancakes, eggs cooked to order, as well as croissants and pastries, pancakes and waffles plus European and Chinese options too. Room service food was brilliant and very good value. Only had drinks down by the pool but mojito was good and not expensive, pool itself very nice and clean with great selection of day beds.   "Really relaxing and comfortable little place fifteen minutes walk from Damai Resort, and excellent value for money. It was great to be able to sit on the huge terrace with a beer or a wine (there is a fridge full of drinks) and listen to all the nature and watch the view of the sea in the distance, ..."far superior to one of the resorts down the road. It is a bit of a distance to places, but there are shuttle buses from the resorts, which pass by. And the two dogs, Shelly and Bella are very cute! We would definitely recommend it. " More >
