Although it wasn't a bother to me, the room had no desk or space good for working on a computer which may be essential for some business travelers. The bedtime port was such a great treat after coming home from dinner. Make sure to check out the library, which is right beside the lobby. The pool & hottub were perfect after coming home from a day on the Virginia Creeper trail, and for morning dips before brunch. The front porch also has super comfortable chairs and couches to relax and enjoy the view or a drink.
