  "My husband and I stayed in Canebreak Cottage. such a cute cottage perfect for two people who want to get away from it all. Our first evening driving on the property there were 10 white tail deer skipping around and grazing in the meadow just below the cottages! Our second night it rained in the late..." evening and we were lulled to sleep by the rain on the tin roof. There is no cell service which I was perfectly ok with...they do provide internet service though and there is a phone for local calls. Last night there took a long soak with a glass of wine in the outdoor bath on the deck under the stars...amazingly relaxing! the cottages are far enough apart for complete privacy. We enjoyed exploring the property with the golf cart provided. Dave and Linda are wonderful hosts..were a wealth of information about the area and Johnny on the spot if you needed anything.   "I really enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn in Pocohontas, Arkansas. My school required me to visit the area for some professional development. I was very impressed with the hotel. It was clean, neat, and nicely decorated. The highway in front of the hotel lead directly to my conference therefore mak..."ing my traveling convenient. The only problems I encountered were that the internet would not stay connected. I thought maybe I was too far from the wifi, but I heard another customer complaining about it the next morning also. The only other thing was that the bathroom floor, which was lovely looking, was very slick. I am not sure if it was the finish on the tiles or if it had been polished recently. But, I did not hurt myself! If this is all I have to complain about, then things are definitely great! " More >
