  "i recently had the pleasure of staying here for a significant birthday. what a great choice! the staff made me feel so welcome and the character of the inn was very cozy and relaxing. i had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room or comfortable bed, and the fireplace lent such ambiance. ..."but it was the little things that really made it special for me....the sugar and cream were served in original pewter dishes, and the lavender honey with tea was an unexpected treat. these are the little touches i would add if i ran a b&b. i definitely would stay here again, and not wait for a significant birthday!
