TV in the LR is huge, at least 42" and there is also a TV in the bedroom. The "kitchenette" has a little frig w freezer, coffeemaker, bar sink... great for making those snacks (microwave too) or late night cocktails! We found the room clean. The only reason it didn't get a 5 is that there are a couple of little fix-it items, like faucet handles that are loose or in the case of the bar, the hot is cold and the cold is hot...truly insignificant to the overall experience.   "Stayed here for a business conference. Pretty good rooms, were updated and had large bathrooms. It is an old hotel but they are working on improving it and will have it updated by next year. Great customer service at the front desk. I didn't like how far away things were from the hotel- the pool...", gym, spa, and parking lot is a walk, and the hotel is not on the beach so you have to wait 30 mins (not always so long) for the shuttle to take you there and back. Once at the beach club it's pretty old and nothing special; however it is clean and in good condition. The beach was incredibly bad- I've been to a lot of beaches and this has to be the worst- shells everywhere you look and walk and dark rocky sand. There is a huge drop off when you walk into the ocean. I did like being in between Jacksonville and St Augustine and overall it was a good resort but would not choose to come to Ponte Vedra again. I would much rather go to the Gulf or Hilton Head. " More >

  "I came to the Lodge and Club to visit friends staying there. The Lodge came highly recommended by friends who are members. I enjoyed the access to the beach and the outdoor Oasis bar was great! The guy at the bar was awesome! Everyone was super friendly and professional. We dined with our friend..."s one evening in the upstairs dining room. Suzanne was super nice and the food was great! My only negative experience was with an older security guard. He made my children feel awkward around the beach access and he passed us outside looking confused and angry. I look forward to staying at the Lodge myself, here soon, and getting in some overdue R&R! " More >
