  "We saw the bad reviews and were leery...it was graduation weekend at Kstate, and our family made the reservations. We were extremely pleased with the experience. It was a little humid due to the indoor pool, but the pool was great! Kids loved it. Nice big open area for kids to play by the pool, ..."or for families to gather to visit, play games, or watch the kids swim. It has a nice bar, and we were able to order drinks, and enjoy them by the pool. The rooms were newly refurbished, and were fine. Nothing fancy, but good for family. There was a breakfast buffet included and it was very, very good! Eggs, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, lots of coffee and oj...and you could eat there by the buffet, but we saw folks taking plates and sitting my the pool to eat while their kids were swimming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and will stay here again if we go to Manhattan. " More >

  "We traveled to Manhattan for graduation weekend. We booked about 1 month in advance and there wasn't much to choose from at that point. The first room they assigned to us was in the Regency Inn part of this motel. This room was sub-standard, and we complained immediately! Turns out, the housekee..."per had not been performing on an acceptable level and this room was proof of it. The sheets were dirty, the floors were dirty, the tub & sink were both dirty. The manager, Darlene, took very good care of us and put us into a clean room on the America's Best Value Inn side of the motel. They are working on updating this motel, and they offer a hot breakfast which is nice. (waffles, biscuits & gravy, muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc) There was one lady who was helping in the breakfast area on Saturday morning as well as cleaning rooms, and she was super friendly but i didn't get her name. The employee running breakfast & the front desk on Sunday was less friendly - but she was busy. ... " More >
