The breakfasts were the best we have ever had - fresh fruit, freshly baked cakes, muffins, pancakes which melted in the mouth, delicious eggs and bacon. Jane and Tim were the ultimate in hosts. Very caring and attentive and a delight to talk to. We loved our bedroom which was large and extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished in shades of pale green.   "Perfect place to spend our 5 year anniversary!"
  "My husband and I stayed at the Casco Bay Cottage the third week of October last year. We wanted the romantic experience of a Maine cottage in a small town in the off season. Finding this cottage was exactly what we were looking for and more! It was very nice, yet also very cozy and homey feeling...." And by cozy, I DO NOT mean small. It was very roomy, but very warm, inviting and comfortable as well. We had a wonderful Maine vacation kayaking the bays, exploring hiking trails and visiting neighboring towns with beautiful harbors and lighthouses. What could have made this trip any better? A great property owner who was very easy to work with and accommodating of our needs!! And then there was the onsite caretaker, Bill, who was so very helpful and never made us feel as though we were a burden although we pestered him constantly! :) When it was time to go we drove away with one thought on our minds....when can be make it back??!!   "I have visited Edgewater Farm 3 times, once in early summer and again in late spring and early fall. Each time, I have felt warmly greeted and welcomed by the hosts who are lovely people and who welcome you without overwhelming you. I've enjoyed the lovely, peaceful setting, the beauty of the farm,..." the charm of the nicely appointed old rooms and the cheerfulness of the large dining area with it's made by hand fireplace and large windows which look out on lawns and overflowing flower beds. The Inn is a short distance from some of the most beautiful, unspoiled beaches on the east coast. The indoor heated pool is an unexpected bonus and is longer than standard hotel pools, so you can really get some laps in. Breakfast is yummy. the whole place hums with life, and there are many sweet touches... a labyrinth in the woods made of salvaged rope from the beach, a heart shaped strawberry patch, and several beautiful veggie patches, one of which supplies the local food pantry.
