"After being given a Gift Certificate for a bednbreakfast Inn 2 1/2 years ago from our children, my husband and I travelled to the Simmons Homstead Inn, in Hyannis Port, Mass. I was apprehensive as we are not Inn people, but to my surprise....We had a wonderful time. Bill, the owner was very friend..."ly, the Inn was beautiful....I had booked room 10 and he offerred room 1 as it was cold and the room was available. We would have had to walk outside in the morning from room 10 for breakfast. Well... room 1 was amazing..At wine hour he had loads of information on area resturants for dinner and coupons. Breakfast was served to our convenience and was amazing. And again, at breakfast Bill had loads of information on things we could do in the area. He had maps and he was very very helpful. We had a wonderful time at our "home away from home" and cant wait to go back. Thanks Bill! your car collection is amazing and your cats are adorable!!!!

"What a cat lovers dream!!!!...30+ cuddle craving orange long-haired cuties roam about the grounds and congregate in the proprietors home adjacent. The rest of this B+B rang all the Cape Cod bells and blew all the Cape Cod whistles. Beautiful old home lovingly restored.Lovely relaxed and relaxing gr..."ounds to walkabout or just enjoy from the wrap-around era's past porch, cats always just a pat and purr away. I'm telling you the Simmons Homestead Inn is a B+B experiance you'll find know where else. Thanks Bill Putman! You've created a Purr-fectly lovely world for your guests and your friendly, furry,Family

"We were lucky enough to get a room here on only two days notice. The Inn is almost 200 years old, which is a plus in our book, as we love historic properties. Bill's car collection (50+!), housed in Toad Hall, is a real treat to explore, and brought back great memories for my husband. The numerou..."s friendly cats decorating the grounds were a plus for both of us. They are not allowed in the Inn or the two guest rooms in the renovated barn, in case of allergies. Each room has a theme and corresponding knick knacks. We stayed in the Rabbit Hutch room in the front of the Inn, and it was very quiet. Everything looked clean, and we had a good night's sleep. There are apartment-sized refrigerators available for guest use in the dining room. Bill made us a great, satisfying breakfast of cheese omelette, sausage, coffee cake, with canteloupe and fresh strawberries. Regular coffee was available and Folgers Singles for decaf. Thoughout our visit, Bill was attentive, but not intrusive.
