  "Stayed here last year, and again this year. Quite convenient location to I-75 and Gaylord. Rooms are fine - clean, good TV, good beds, mini-kitchen, etc. But the issues of a welcoming, helpful and friendly staff are still a problem. The front desk person at check in did her job and nothing more...." Some additional training would be helpful - or a major attitude adjustment. When we asked about internet connectivity problems she really didn't care. This is the first HI Express in quite a while where as "Priority Club" members we did not receive a "goodie bag" on arrival. It's a little thing, but a nice touch. And it's also the first HI Express where the front desk personnel wasn't welcoming. Appreciated that the breakfast started well before the posted 6AM start time. There were a number of people there by 5:30 and everything was ready. Thanks to the dining room staff for making this possible so we could get an earlier than planned start. We will most likely stay here again... " More >
